Having had two hip replacements I wasn't sure that I would be able to do yoga when a friend recommended it to me. However, I thought I would give it a go - and what a difference it has made to my confidence and my flexibility... now I can do nearly all of the excercises, and if there is something I am unhappy with, Suzanne shows me another way of doing it. I really would recommend Suzanne's classes.
Suzanne was my first choice to help recovery from major surgery and coping with the treatment that followed, showing me the way to exercise my body, to breathe mindfully and to quieten my mind, as well as teaching new ways of listening to what was best for my mind, my body and my spirit.
What Yoga Equipment Do I Need?
For the first couple of classes I provide yoga mats, but eventually you will need to purchase your own. You can also borrow other yoga equipment like belts and blocks until you have an idea what props you will need. You can then purchase items as you need them. I can supply yoga mats at a reasonable price and offer advice on other equipment and props.
Remember to bring a blanket along for the relaxation session at the end of each class.
